Do you think that only the reality can be virtual? Or… do you think that virtual offices can make in in this virtual reality? We shall see!

What is a virtual office?

Virtual office is term used for shared office services, which normally includes business address, web conferencing, mail services, phone services, fax services, answering machines, servers for web hosting, and meeting facilities.

There are many companies offering virtual office related services but Davinci Virtual is the leading provider of turn key virtual communications and Virtual Office solutions.

If you travel a lot (like I do) is more convenient to subscribe for a virtual office:

Copper Conferencing provides group communication and conferencing services
to help improve the speed of business.  Whether you are an enterprise business, small business or business professional, we have a solution to fit your needs – phone conferencing, video conferencing, web conferencing.

A virtual office assistant is just a more descriptive way of also saying virtual assistant. Virtual office assistant is sometimes confused with a secretary, and this is not right because a virtual office assistant can do much more than a secretary.

A virtual office has a physical location, but employees have no assigned offices. So, virtual office is for you if you are starting your own business and need to save cash. I’d subscribe for a virtual office. :)

What is virtual reality?

These days, the phrase “virtual reality” (abbreviated VR) describes the technology that enables users to interact with computer-generated, three-dimensional environments that have been designed primarily through optic depictions to appear as realistic as possible.

The stated aim of this technology is the production of a “total display” that purposefully activates the senses, allowing the perceptual apparatus to construct a virtual environment that is perceived as just as “real” as reality.

Virtual reality is also variously referred to as artificial reality, cyberspace or 3-D simulations.

The term “virtual reality” was coined in 1989 by Jaron Lanier, an early computer visionary. Although the concept has been around for quite a few years, the forms and the degree of immersion that recent technologies has now achieved are, however, of such a quality that they can scarcely be compared to earlier forms.

For example, the moving image of cinema has a higher degree of immersion than photography, which in turn has a higher degree of immersion than a painted picture. Similarly, one can trace this development in other areas of the senses. For instance, the use of Stereo and DHX hi-fi systems in films far surpasses the use of a phonograph in terms of its immersive capabilities.
